Description

A coming-of-age musical based on the 1982 motion picture, My Favorite Year, written by Dennis Palumbo and the screenplay adaptation by Norman Steinberg and Dennis Palumbo. Set in 1954, a young TV writer working on a hit comedy show is given the opportunity to chaperone his childhood TV idol and discovers the real person.

Was 1954 your favorite year? This year was full of surprises, love, adventure, and realizations that 20 million people could witness 90 little minutes of possible small catastrophes. Join Theatre Sheridan for the chaos that will bring laughter to your heart and the year that was the best year ever.

Book by Joseph Dougherty, music by Stephen Flaherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens.
