Description

Current and past members of the Social Justice and Action Committee (SJAC), will discuss the benefits of a student-led committee at Sheridan and their personal and professional development while serving on the committee. The SJAC, now in its fourth year, has provided students with an opportunity to lead various campaigns/events including Black History Month, Take Back the Night, The Kindness Campaign, Mental Health Forum, 16 Days of Activism, LGBTQ+ Inclusion workshops and the Syrian Newcomers and Settlement panel.
