Creative Cities of the Future
As part of the Visualization 2 Urban Design and Visualization Architectural Technology course, students from the Architectural Technology and Urban Design programs at Sheridan College collaborated with the City of Mississauga to explore built form interventions aimed at improving community health. This workshop, an extension of the Creative Cities Initiative, began with a series of lectures, followed by a hands-on workshop, and culminated in an exhibit. The focus was on enhancing access to green space, air quality, healthy food, and walkability in the west, north, northeastern, and central areas of Mississauga.
