Description
Based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, Godspell remains one of the most popular rock musicals of all time. With a playful and poignant score by Grammy and Academy Award-winning composer Stephen Schwartz, Godspell is the timeless tale of friendship, loyalty and love that has touched theatregoers all over the world. Boasting a string of well-loved songs, led by the international hit “Day By Day”, Godspell is a groundbreaking and unique reflection on the life of Jesus, with a message of kindness, tolerance and love.
The music and lyrics are by Stephen Schwartz, and this performance was conceived by John-Michael Tebelak.
