Description
This interactive map details the extensive correspondence of William of Orange (1544-1584) before and during the Dutch Wars of Independence. The database for this map comes from the Huygens Institute. The different sections allow users to sort and filter by a variety of criteria and have the relevant information shown on the map. It should be noted that the database only has the sent or received locations for about half of the over 13,000 letters.
