Abstract
Topics discussed included: the role of the First Year Academic Skills Librarian, the development of a “First Year Library Team” as well as future directions and upcoming initiatives. This session presented at the Ontario Library Association Super Conference 2018 discussed how Sheridan Library and Learning Services has addressed and enhanced the First Year Experience and how you can apply our lessons learned to your library.

Identify a variety of approaches to developing and/or assessing a ‘First Year Experience’ Program
Apply methodologies to build or enhance your own FYE program
