"WTS is a place of ideas. I attended classes to learn more about the college and its approach to theology and education. I came away impressed with the open and vital discussions that take place there every day. While the teaching is grounded in scripture, the application and understanding is in the 'here and now,' not in ancient deserts.
I wanted my windows to speak to the theology of today. I embedded the town plan of Holland, Michigan into the City of God window and integrated professor Ron Rienstra's photos of local trees into the Tree of Life windows. My glass angel wing in the Prayer Room was based on a Michigan shore sand dune. I also added a satellite view of the Great Lakes in the Gifts of Grace Chapel windows."
