Design Concept
I wanted to redesign the interior of the building to provide better comfort and safety for the firefighters. Major changed have been made within the interior of the building without affecting the general building footprint. Changes to the livable areas of the fire station have been made to provide more space for the individuals inside to enjoy. Vestibules have also been added to the building layout to reduce the transmission of cancerous materials from entering the livable space from the non livable spaces of the fire station, such as the apparatus bay.
