Design Concept
The idea behind my design is mainly focused on modernizing the structure by using more modern-day construction, design and Eco-friendly materials. The strategy is to make use of much of the existing footprint of the structure as possible, while minimizing the need to expand, reducing costs and materials needed. Such strategies include redesigning layouts and minimizing unused or unneeded spaces. As for health and safety, areas such as a decontamination shower has be included as well as enclosed spaces making it harder for contaminants to reach more vulnerable areas.
