ESPACIO: Co-Working Space & Cafe
Carolina Garzon
The co-working and cafe project is a commercial space inspired by the biophilia design theory, universal design parameters, and sustainability. The open space design provides an accessible and suitable environment for all the customers; also, the use of green spots based on the vegetation and natural colour palette level up the experience for people giving comfort and a fresh atmosphere to develop the different activities. In addition, the project features sustainable materials and finishes to create the perfect industrial design style. This final thesis book contains all stages of interior decorating such as contextual research, concept development, space planning, and design and 3D rendering.

Novus : Coworking Space. Cafe. Retail
Vidhi Nandasana
The core idea for the thesis is based on adaptive reuse of a historically valuable gem " Distillery District" and transform it into a coworking space, cafe, and a pop-up retail shop. The most crucial challenge of the design is to create a sustainable interior space inspired from concepts like biophilia and biomimicry, achieving all by using the most ecofriendly construction materials. Entire space has lots of natural elements and vegetations to create a natural looking space. the furniture and art selection has been done from lots of local Indigenous artists to support their art. All the client requirements were met while keeping the essence of the Distillery intact in the space. The idea has been very successfully executed by connecting the traditional Rammed earth construction with modern Eclectic style design. The design also addresses the aspects of accessibility and follows all the measures of COVID-19. The thesis sequentially displays the design process starting from the research of the site, demographic data , conceptual sketches, floor plans, elevations, and 3-D renderings.
