SSW Counselling Simulation and Debrief Mode (Poster)
Description
The Faculty of Applied Health and Community Studies collaborated with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) to integrate a counselling simulation pilot project within the Professional Practice Courses for the Social Service Worker program. Learn about the process faculty and students went through in collaboration with CAMH to create the simulated learning experience. Successes and challenges will be shared along with tools and tangible steps for other faculty looking to enhance the classroom experience with simulations and effective debrief models.
