On Wednesday November 16, 2022 in honour of the International Day of Tolerance, the FAAD EDI Task Force and the Alumni Office sponsored a screening event featuring the innovative and award-winning student films from the Honours-Bachelor of Film and Television. The screening program focused on the theme of tolerance related to race, gender, ethnicity, social class, immigration, disability and 2SLGBTQIA+. The screening was followed by a panel discussion with BFTV alumni, moderated by BFTV Professor Dr. Kathleen Cummins. Guest alumni panelists included Paula Ner Dormiendo, Violet Elliot, Katie McKenna, Daniela Pinto, Andressa Bach, Martin Restrepo, Scott Morris and Stephanie Nakashima. Journalism and BFTV Professor, Sherine Mansour, was a co-organizer for the event.

Special Thanks to Laura King (BFTV student) who helped with close-captioning films and Nikolas Clarke for his technical support.
