Description

Don Wightman provided feedback to his students on their work from the first semester of an art course. While Wightman expressed positive comments on their work, he mentioned that students needed to “acknowledge the relationship between conceptual objectives and visual manifestations” and unify these two in their artwork. Students needed to be more intentional and to connect what they created with the underlying concepts they were trying to convey. He said that in order to facilitate this goal, he would present more restrictive parameters for the assignments in the second semester.
