Alireza Sobhanmanesh is a professor in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Sheridan College. As a part of the Stories of Home project, Alireza has chosen to share a personal story that resonates with his own journey of cultural exploration and identity. Having experienced the challenges of culture shock during his family's relocation to the UK and subsequent return to his home country, Iran, Alireza understands firsthand the complexities of navigating different cultural environments.
