In this session, participants will be introduced to practical strategies for designing engaging courses in SLATE. Participants will learn why we design for inclusion with a focus not only on applicable legislation but also on how unintended barriers impede the learning experience for students. Faculty will learn how to enhance the navigation of their courses from the student perspective, and how to ensure their course materials are more accessible to all learners. Participants will have access to the course template to import into their own workbenches following this session.
