Description

The current Pelvic Organ Prolapse Quantifications system (POP-Q) is quantified by using finger measurements, which suffers from subjectivity and inconsistency among clinicians. The project with COSM Medical aims to develop a mechanical tool that is able to measure key parameters of pelvic floor and accommodate the anatomical constraints of the human vagina canal, while being easy-to-use, relatively inexpensive and biocompatible
