Description
What happens when Canada’s most travelled, “Best Cabaret Performer” assembles a full band and, armed with own brand of comedy and pathos, takes a walk on the scarier side of the street?
Full Dark, expands Sharron Matthew’s signature, award winning style to delve into the darker sides of storytelling. Using the music of Elton John, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, Beyonce and the Righteous Brothers, Sharron created an evening of ‘songologues’ about growing up fatherless, about being bullied, about sexuality and danger, the unacceptable, and the unexplained. This was a not-to-be-missed creation provided by one of Canada’s foremost entertainers. Featured a band led by Chris Tsujiuchi on keyboard with Jason Chesworth on guitar and Mike Doherty on percussion.
