RockLab
Abstract
Rocklab is a mobile application/solution that bridges rock climbing fitness tracking with teaching technical aspects of climbing in an interactive way. While other solutions do exist for each of these sub-domains, as discussed later, their use becomes limited or non-beneficial in the pursuit of technical refinement and learning proper fundamentals. As a result, RockLab was conceived to provide a utility for rock climbers that leverages Augmented Reality, Computer Vision, and Data Analytics to give rock climbers a new way to track their climbing history and visual insights and metrics for intuitive improvement.
