Sheridan’s Honours Bachelor of Social and Community Development is a degree completion program at Sheridan College that includes five research courses that introduce students to the community engaged research process in the social services sector, from initial literature review to knowledge mobilization. Students undertake research projects on topics suggested by community partners. Students share their findings through a research symposium where they present their capstone research posters. Students are also required to mobilize knowledge that emerges from their research using other non-traditional strategies such as, but not limited to the research briefs shared on this platform.
