Description
Our story map gives a brief overview of Jarvis Street based on the origin of its name. It offers the existing controversies surrounding the name’s origins including why citizens are against the name of the street and the historical significance of the name. It also highlights the historical significance of the name Jarvis street to Canadians. The story-map is divided into different sections detailing the issues surrounding Jarvis street such as the problems and the proposed cause of action in addressing the controversies. As such, it gives the best approach that the opposing sides can adopt and have a coexistence without necessarily changing the name and coming to terms with the historical significance attached to it.
