Description
The topic our group chooses for this project is the mailbox. The theme for the Public History 2022 Winter term is: finding joy in the mundane. Since the initial covid-19 break out in 2019, there has been a shift in purchase behaviour which has doubled online sales. This said, mailboxes have become an item of daily use. Despite this, mailboxes have had importance for over a century previous to online purchases. The intention of this project is to provide the audience with an insightful lesson into history and to gain a greater appreciation for this mundane artefact, the mailbox
