Artist Statement
This blind contour drawing is a portrait of myself looking into the mirror. I felt that this project gave me so much freedom and allowed me to focus my attention into picking out details of objects, how they move and interact with the things around them, rather than trying to make it look “perfect”. This piece helped me grow out of my shell as an artist; it showed me that mistakes are only mistakes when you take them as such. Sometimes the best thing to do is to just -- without fear - keep going.
