Artist Statement
This acrylic painting was created through observation using the Zorn palette, consisting of ochre yellow, cadmium red, black, and white. I wanted to achieve a hyper realistic look to my subject matter, heavily focusing on shine and shadows. Completing this project helped me increase my skills when painting from observation and helped me to better understand form and composition
