Description
Sheridan continues to be committed to supporting students with suspected and confirmed disabilities through the new Academic Accommodation Policy and Procedure for Students with Disabilities. This session will provide an overview of the academic accommodation policy focusing on the purpose of the policy, key definitions, steps in the accommodation process, and roles/responsibilities in the accommodation process.
We will address questions such as:
- What resources/tools do you need in order to effectively support students in implementing academic accommodations?
- How can we better support your understanding of academic accommodations?
