Design Brief
Converting "low density" to "medium density"
- Converting low-heighted housing and commercial buildings into high-rise structures and use the remaining space for "urban parks"
- More space for walking and biking to promote healthy living
- Improve accessibility to "urban parks" by locating them close to each cluster of urban development
Purpose
Explore possible built form interventions to improve community health including access to green space, air quality, access to healthy food, walkability in the west, north, northeastern and central areas of Mississauga.
