Abstract
This video is one of two components of a graduate thesis. Its main purpose is to support the written component of the thesis which investigates the effect of digital technology on the Greater Toronto Area Animation Community (GTAAA). It breaks up the community into 4 separate sectors: Industrial, Independent, Emergent and Educational. I conducted Interviews with members of all four sectors and though the documentary is but a small sample of the data collected i believe it provides important insights that underpin the emergence of digital tools in animation production, roughly between 1994-200
