Robert Tiegs
Biography
Dr. Robert Tiegs is a professor in the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences at Sheridan College. His research focuses on the political and ecological impact of military floods during the Dutch Wars of Independence (1566-1648). Dr. Tiegs emphasizes interdisciplinary study and active learning principles in his teaching philosophy. He has presented at conferences and published peer-reviewed articles, including a forthcoming revised edition of his doctoral thesis with Brill Publishers.
